On Monday, September 18, 2023 we will be enjoying an evening together as a company. We have booked a private event at Garland Mountain Sporting Clays at 2618 Garland Mountain Trail, Waleska, Georgia, 30183. You can check out their website here. https://garlandmountain.com/
We will be closing the shop and offices at 12 PM that day. We will wrap up working (at the shop and on-site) by 11:45 to give people time to clean up. If leaving from a job site is more convenient that is fine. However, it is expected that we will all be working until 11:45 so that we can inform customers at the various sites of our schedule. For job sites that are further away we will adjust the schedule as necessary.
If you need time to “refresh” please pack extra clothes etc. with you that morning and plan for such. We cannot hold the start of the event.
The facility is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Signal Machine. We are set to arrive at 2:00 PM and will begin the target clay course at 2:15 PM. After shooting, we will come back to the lodge for a break, and have dinner served at 6:15 PM. The event wraps up and expected departure is by 8:00 PM. Please make transportation arrangements before the day of the event. Everyone is encouraged to carpool either from Signal or from the job site.
This event is for Signal Machine Employees only and it is expected for all employees to attend. Everyone will be paid until 3:30 PM. We must turn in a final count by Friday, September 1 for everyone that will be attending. We will only need to know if you are UNABLE to attend. Please submit IN WRITING or VIA text to your immediate supervisor if you cannot make it. As mentioned, we expect all employees to be at this event. If you are on vacation or there is another pressing matter that prevents you from being able to attend, that is understood. This is one of our only opportunities to spend time with everyone outside of our normal working circumstances. It is only costs a few hours of time and a little fuel for you to invest into your company. Please only miss if it is absolutely necessary.
For the event we will be shooting sporting clays around a course. We will divide up into 4 person teams. Each 4 person team will have a Utility Golf Cart, and a Beretta Shotgun to share. Each guest will have 100 sporting clays along with 100 rounds of ammunition. Eye and ear protection is also included along with a Garland Mountain Hat. We will also have a shoot host that will give us safety tips and general shooting pointers as we go through the course. If you are a beginner or have never even shot before you can participate in this event.
Dinner will include a salad, Carved Roast Beef or Honey Pecan Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, and Roasted Vegetables served buffet style.
Once the event wraps up and you are finished with dinner, you are free to go. As mentioned, the expected departure is no later than 8 PM.
We are very proud to be able to do this for a second year in a row now as a company. God continues to keep His hand on us and we are blessed to be able to enjoy times like this together.
